Kate's Summer Choir

Kate's Summer Choir

Summer 2010

We allowed the kids to run through the sprinklers on a hot July night but the bad part was that it was 10:00 at night. I felt bad for the neighbors. The song was playing on my Ipod and it just so happened to be playing that song.

Summer 2010

Ok I have a goal to start postin at least once a week on this blog.

This summer we moved to a new home on Ogden Street. We love our house, neighbors and the kids will stay at the same schools so they are happy.

Jenna turned 14 on June 6. She just started her freshman year at Arapahoe (the smae highschool Jim and I attended). I can not believe we have just 4 short years left until she leaves for college.

In July we celebrated the 4th at King's Point Pool and relaxed at home since it was a bit chilly on that day.
The summer has been filled with baseball (Jack), softball (Jenna), violin lessons and summer choir (Kate) and Lauren made the choice to just hang with friends and relax by the pool this summer. No activities for her. But she did babysit a lot and made some good money.
In August we started buying school supplies, getting the girls ready for middle school and high school.

A New Holiday Tradition

Last night we went to downtown Littleton do participate in th Candlelight Walk. They had apple cider and carolers, groups of people playing different instruments. Then Santa come down Littleton Blvd. as he got to each block the Christmas lights would turn on, on that street. It was cold but the festive mood helped. As we were leaving it began to snow. It was a perfect ending to a great night.
