Horrible Mother

So we have decide to block all the channels on our tv because the kids are watching to many shows that we think are not appropriate(Sponge Bob, I Carly and on and on). Have you ever watched those shows. The kids were misbehaving more and more. So Jim and I are controlling the remote for now on.
So Jenna says you are ruining my right to learn because she feels she can watch the History channel all day long.

The Garden

My mother has decided to create a garden. One with about 5,000 contents!!!!!!!!!!!! Not really but if she could she would turn our whole backyard into a garden. You know those big note cards, she filled up almost 4 of those. we're even trying to grow watemelons and corn. when my mom is digging out there all this dirt gets everywhere and she wonders why. i only like to put the seeds and root thingies in the holes. pictures will come later. the camera is dead.

spring break

We have been on Spring Break all week. On Monday we raked leaves and walked up to Peabody(Lauren, Jack, and Kate's school.) On Tuesday we went to the Zoo. On Wednesday Lauren went to her Friend Taylor's house.Me, Jack, kate and my mom explored Downtown Littleton for a little while, stopping to eat "lunch" at Abe's.(It was more like an ice cream break.) Then my mother dragged the 3 of us to O'Tooles(a garden center). What a joy. Eventually, we got to pick up Lauren. At home, I helped my mom dig up the grass to make room for her HUGE garden, while the other kids sat on their butts in front of Spongebob Squarepants. I finally got out of it by inviting my friend Katie Potts over for a sleepover. long day, right? On Thursday we visited a very fun and new park in developing Stapleton with Katie Potts in tow. Then we went looking for mansions with 10 bathrooms(10 bathrooms was Katie's idea). We never found any. But we did look through some houses which were nice. we got home and Katie's mom came to get her. then we came up with the grand idea to have double sleepover. we did, i came over to her house, it was fun. her new puppy Jeter(after Derek Jeter) loves me sooooooooo much. At least he is cute. we barely stayed up till midnight, we could barely keep our eyes open. the next day while the other kids were eating at IHOP with Grandma, I was eating Chocolate Chip pancakes at Katie's house. The rest of Friday we went to the movie, the Spiderwick Chronicles. At home I was again helping my mom with the garden, in the freezing cold. Then later I started writting on the blog.

Its been awhile.

My mom is having a hard time keeping up the blog so I get to be in charge of it. Tons of stuff has happened but i don't remember all of it, so my mom is helping me remember. Don't expect me to go into too much detail, I can't even remember to capitalize all the words at the beginning of sentences. I have to go back and fix them. I love how they use lists on the Lewis Girls blog, so I am going to use that.

1. We all started school in August. Blah. I went into middle school, Lauren went into fourth grade, Jack into second, and Kate in her third and last year of preschool.
2.The family and I went to New Mexico for a family reunion with my dad's side of the family. It was nice to see all my second cousins and all of those people.
3. Then I got to go to Washington DC all by myself through People To People Leadership Programs in September. It was fun. I got to miss a week of school. =)
4.Halloween came next. I couldn't think of anything better than a ghost. The rest of the kids were cowboys and cowgirls. I didn't want to be the same.
5.We had a lot of food on Thanksgiving. I gained like 5 pounds, but the next morning it was magically gone! I lost weight by sleeping!
6.My dad's cousin Kimmy was getting married after Thanksgiving. She and her new husband, Mark asked Little Katie to be the flower girl! She wore a poofy dress just like Kimmy's.
7.Then came Christmas, BUSY, BUSY, BUSY! Even though it was busy, it was fun and we got plenty of presents.
8.Lauren's B-day came next.She got even MORE presents! I think she did pretty well this year. her birthday was on January 8th btw.
9. All the other kids celebrated Valentines Day. My school doesn't let middle schoolers have Valentine's Day parties.=(
10. Katies b-day came next. She got tons of stuff, too. Including the Biggest Littlest Pet Shop. *ooo ahh*
11.Then in March, the family got together to celebrate my mom's, my grandma's, and my cousin Allie's, b-day. They got some pretty and fun stuff.

We have done a lot since August. And we still have a lot to do this year.
